Description
Embark on a nighttime herping adventure in the Choco ecoregion of Ecuador. Accompanied by a docent, search for a variety of snakes, frogs, lizards, and more. Keep an eye out for the blunthead tree snake, Central American boa, and Despax's ground snake, among others. Spot rare frogs like the Orejuela's glassfrog, Imbabura tree frog, and gliding leaf frog. Discover local lizards such as the blotchbelly anole, purple anole, and Bocourt's dwarf iguana. You might even encounter salamanders and caecilians. During the day, enjoy birdwatching and look for species like the Rufous-tailed Jacamar. If you're lucky, you might even spot a puma.Includes
