Itinerary DESCRIPTIVE ITINERARY Day 1: Transfer in - Baltra - Charles Darwin Research Station Arrival at the Galapagos airport. Transfer to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island, arrival and accommodation in the lodge according to the arrival time of the flight. Our first site of visit is the Charles Darwin Station, before leaving for the visit the guide gives us the explanation about the location of the Hotel, at the beginning of the walk we will pass by the fishermen's dock here we will be able to see marine iguanas, sea lions, pelicans and frigates, we continue our journey to our destination which is the Charles Darwin Station, during the journey we will see endemic birds, endemic vegetation, in this site of visit we will observe land tortoises from the smallest to 155 years old tortoises. Return to the hotel. Day 2: Tortuga Bay - Upper Tortuga Bay - Lava Tunnels - Twin Craters Visit to the beautiful Tortuga Bay Beach, unique in the world for its landscape, with a wonderful white sand beach where passengers bathe and observe endemic birds of the place, here we will be able to observe sea turtles, marine iguanas. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon departure to the 'Upper Part' of Santa Cruz, we will visit Twin Craters, which are fantastic volcanic formations where you can appreciate the lush endemic vegetation and then the Ranch, where you can observe giant tortoises in their natural state. After a short and easy walk we will visit the lava tunnels where the guide will give us a talk about the reproduction of the giant tortoises and the origin of the internal tunnels of the islands. Return to the hotel. Day 3: Alemanes Beach - Salt Mines - Cracks We head to the pier to start our tour, we take a water cab to cross to the pier, once we get to this site the guide gives us the explanation about the history of the place, once the guide finishes the explanation we start a 10 minutes walk to our second visit site which is the salt mine, here we receive the explanation of the place, Once finished we go to our third visit site which are the cracks, this visit site is a natural pool caused by a formation of rocks here we will snorkel, while snorkeling we can observe colorful fish, at the end we go to the fourth visit site which is the Alemanes beach here we will be able to swim, sunbathe and also we will observe endemic birds of the place. We will have the afternoon free to enjoy the town and buy the last souvenirs and souvenirs. Day 4: Transfer Out - Baltra Transfer to the airport. End of services.
