Description

Tour Description: Cabo Rosa Galapagos. Tunnels - Cabo Rosa (Isabela Island): The tour to 'LOS TUNELES' lasts approximately 1 hour and a half to 2 hours. Once in this sector, the boat will go through the different paths through the tunnels where you will be able to clearly observe the landscape that is the highlight of this site. the first visiting site is 'Roca Union', a small islet located in the open sea where you can observe Pelicans, Nazca Boobies and Blue-footed Boobies and the occasional sea lion resting on the rocks. After this short stop we sail for about 45 minutes to reach one of the most beautiful landscapes of rocky lava formations in the Galapagos Islands, it is called tunnels because in ancient eruptions, lava passed under the earth forming tunnels that later collapsed and gave rise to these arches over the water where you can clearly see vegetation coming out of the rocks, crystal clear water, sea lions fluttering between the arches. Afterwards, we move to the site known as Finados for snorkeling with sea turtles, “Tintoreras” sharks, golden rays, eagle rays, seahorses, fish such as the Cirujanos, Damicelas,. The tour includes a light box lunch on the boat after the two activities, after lunch we prepare for the return to Isabela - Puerto Villamil Dock. BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR: Galapagos sea lions, Marine iguanas, Lava lizards, Seahorses, Zayapas, Tinamous, Orcas on occasion, Tropical birds, Blue footed boobies, Nazca boobies, Brown pelicans, Cactus finches.
