Get Inspire by our Amazing Otavalo and Ibarra Train Experience. Your adventure begins with a short stop in Guayllabamba, a charming town famous for its local fruits. We continue the journey through the Andes, we will visit 'the biscuit town' and we'll be making stops at Mira Lago viewpoint where you can admire breathtaking landscapes and take great photos. Next, we arrive at the famous Otavalo “Plaza de Ponchos”, one of the largest indigenous markets in South America. Here you will have free time to explore, shop for handicrafts, and practice your bargaining skills with the local artisans. In the afternoon, we head to Cotacachi, a town renowned for its fine leather goods. This is also the perfect spot to enjoy lunch on your own at one of the local restaurants. Afterwards, the highlight of the day awaits: a scenic train ride from Ibarra to Andrade Marín Station, a journey that showcases beautiful Andean landscapes. To complete the experience, we will visit the historic Textile Factory Museum, where you will discover the fascinating story of Ecuador’s textile development and the important role of labor unions in the country’s history.
