Description

Leave the city behind and spend three days discovering the Ecuadorian Amazon with this all-inclusive tour at Tamandua Ecolodge — a peaceful place surrounded by jungle, where guided activities and time to relax are perfectly balanced. The experience begins with pickup at 7:00 AM from your requested location in Quito. From there, enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 4.5 hours toward the Amazon basin. Around midday, we’ll stop in Puyo, known as the “Gateway to the Amazon,” for lunch before continuing on to Tamandua Ecolodge. After check-in and some time to settle in, go for a hike to Pusculin Waterfall, a 70-meter-high cascade hidden in the forest. The day ends with dinner at the lodge. On the second day, after breakfast, head out for an excursion to the Upper Anzu River — a great opportunity to enjoy the landscapes and learn about the region’s biodiversity. After lunch back at the lodge, join a chocolate-making workshop using native Amazon cacao, where you’ll learn the traditional process and prepare your own chocolate. On your last day, after breakfast, visit the lodge’s beautiful viewpoints and observation tower. You’ll also take part in a handicraft workshop, making your own bracelet with natural seeds collected from the jungle. After lunch, we begin the journey back to Quito, with estimated arrival between 8:00 and 9:00 PM.
