Description

Your experience begins at Quito’s International Airport, where one of our representatives will be waiting for you upon arrival. It is important that your flight lands no later than 14h00 in order to carry out the tour without setbacks. From there, we will head to the historic center of the capital to begin a panoramic tour of its main attractions. The first stop will be at the Basilica of the National Vow, where you will have time to get off, receive a brief explanation of its importance, and take photographs. We will then continue to the Plaza Grande, the historic heart of Quito, surrounded by the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the Municipal Palace, all iconic buildings that reflect the country’s history and political life. Next, we will visit the Church of the Society of Jesus (La Compañía de Jesús), recognized as one of the most important baroque jewels in the Americas, where you will receive a short explanation about its history and impressive façade. Afterwards, we will head to the San Francisco Church and Square, one of the oldest and most representative architectural complexes in the city, where you will also learn about its history. Finally, we will go up to the Panecillo viewpoint, which offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Quito, guarded by the Winged Virgin, a symbol of the city. At the end of the tour, our private transportation will take you to your hotel in Quito. This experience lasts approximately 4 hours from the moment you are picked up at the airport until you are dropped off at your hotel.
