Important Information

  • Since you will ride in the mountains where the trails may be steep and with less oxygen, there is a maximum rider weight limit of 200 pounds (90.7 kilograms). Slight exceptions can be made on the one-day-rides
  • Important things to bring: warm and waterproof clothing, comfortable shoes (no flip-flops or other type of open shoes), water, sun block, sunglasses, and your passport
  • It is important to have current travel insurance including personal medical insurance. Please inform the local supplier of any known medical conditions you have
  • The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notice due to weather, National Park regulations or notifications and unpredictable circumstances
  • Unfortunately the National Park does not allow photo stops during the ride to the Hacienda inside the park. If you would like to visit Limpiopungo or the Cotopaxi refugio and make photo stops, it is obligatory to rent the services of a local guide (40 USD)
