Here you can also visit the central park and its church. After this you will continue to Chordeleg, recognized throughout the country for the talent of its jewelers. Learn about the filigree technique that has given so much fame to Ecuadorian jewelry. After this you will go to Gualaceo the second more important canton of the province of Azuay, and ideal site for lovers of traditional food, this place has a picturesque market where you can delight with delicious local food. After lunch, your guide will take you to visit the center of Gualaceo, which has several colonial houses, to finally visit the famous 'MAKANAS' workshop where you will have a demonstration of how the shawls of the Cholas Cuencanas are made, a garment that has gained space within the upper social class in recent years, being a garment that is widely used by women in important events.
