You will visit the Basilica del Voto Nacional Church, where you will make a brief stop during which you will be able to climb up to its high domes. You will then move towards the Panecillo viewpoint, an iconic place in the city renowned for its beauty. Here you will find a giant statue of the 'Winged Virgin', where you can admire a beautiful landscape of both colonial and modern Quito. You will then continue to the Plaza de San Francisco, a renowned place of the city and a place full of history. From there you will walk to the Plaza Grande, the historical and political center of the city. This area is surrounded by innumerable attractions, such as the cathedral, the Palace of Government, the Archbishop's Palace, and the La Compañía church. You will later finish your tour by experiencing the traditional La Ronda neighborhood, a romantic setting in which you can find workshops where visitors are able to learn from a group of authentic artisans how their works are elaborated.
