First, you will visit the traditional and historical Guapulo neighborhood, where you will walk through its picturesque cobblestone streets as the founders of the city of Quito did, and enjoy its incomparable views of the landscape of the valleys that surround the city, the Church of Guapulo, and the old colonial monastery. You will continue on to La Floresta, considered among the most emblematic neighborhoods of the city, nowadays the bohemian and artistic place of Quito, where we can admire the diversity of culture through its murals and graffiti. There you will visit some workshops of independent artisans, and get to know their works and see how they give life to this neighborhood. Later, you will have the opportunity to know the neighborhood food. Explore local flavors found in the street foods of Quito. As you try different foods and meet the locals who produce them, learn about the traditions that are a part of preparations of the numerous delicious dishes. Finally, enjoy local Quito beer. Quito is recognized as the first city to brew beer in South America, in the sixteenth century, 1566 religious orders injected the beer gene in the Quiteño people, which has awakened strongly in the 21st-century. On this portion of the tour, feel the passion for the art of beer making that tells the story of Quito. You will go to the Plaza de San Blas, the entrance of the historic center of Quito. From where you will walk to the first Pub located in a traditional neighborhood where you will have a tasting guided by a master brewer specialist, using the 5 senses to discover the flavors of craft beer. Then you will walk through the beautiful streets of the historic center until you reach your next stop, places that were formerly the craft breweries of the city to continue enjoying the pleasures of beer and understand its process.Includes
