Allpalluta Lodge is built in a private reserve of 640 acres (260 hectares) in the Mindo Cloudforest area ('the birdwatcher's paradise'). It offers clean accommodations with private facilities. In the public areas, the lodge features a bar, a restaurant, a multiple-sport court (tennis, volleyball, football), a game room with board games, billiard, fuss-ball, table tennis and more. Laundry and internet access services are offered by a fee. Outside activities include bird-watching (of course!), hiking and trekking (including one to the cock-of-the-rock lek and to waterfalls), horseback riding, mountain biking and more.
