La Selva is home to many trails, a 135 foot observation tower, and a large butterfly farm. Located in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest basin of Ecuador, La Selva Amazon Ecolodge & Spa has been in successful operation for twenty five years.
La Selva Restaurant - The cuisine is one of the great prides of La Selva. The French chef, Aimé, creates delicious gourmet organic dishes using local ingredients from the lodge's very own garden (all food and drinks are prepared with purified bottled water brought directly from Quito). Vegetarian meals are served and meals for special diets can be prepared upon request.
Bar - One of your experiences at our resort will be your 'welcome' drink at the reception desk upon arrival. Our friendly bartenders will serve your favorite cocktail or introduce you to some of our special tropical drinks. You can enjoy the view of Garzacocha Lake from the bar, or make new friends in our very spacious lounge which is located just behind the bar.
Butterfly Spa - Imagine getting a massage or spa treatment surrounded by Amazonian butterflies! Our elite Butterfly Spa is the first of its kind. Advance reservations, please.
Hammock Hut - Preferred by many for 'siestas' (naps).
