Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge

Opened in 2007, Aventura Lodge was the first of the Red Mangrove Galapagos lodges, which feature accommodation on several different islands. Located on the waterfront of Santa Cruz Island, Aventura Lodge offers stunning views of Puerto Ayora's bay, as well as a great opportunity to observe the surrounding mangrove environment.
Not only are the owners committed to an eco-friendly operation, but the lodge even appears in harmony with its location, with a unique design that helps the building blend with the mangrove forest and seafront surroundings.
Aventura Lodge provides accommodation in the form of 14 guest rooms, which are either located to the mangrove section of the building, or the seafront-facing side. Guests can choose from a variety of different rooms - either suite, superior, or standard.
There are six standard rooms at the lodge; these offer mangrove views, king size beds (twins available), and all the facilities listed below. The two superior rooms offer additional space, sea views, and one features a private balcony. Suites at the lodge also offer superb views over the bay, a queen size bed, and most have a private balcony. All guests at Aventura Lodge are treated to a complimentary cocktail on arrival.
You won't be short of things to do while staying at Aventura Lodge on Santa Cruz Island. Red Mangrove make it their priority to supply you with valuable information about different tour operators in the area - you can snorkel, horse ride, mountain bike, or just explore.
At the end of a long day exploring the Galapagos Islands, relax in the Red Mangrove seaside restaurant, which serves a fusion menu of fresh Ecuadorian seafood in slick Japanese style. To start the day, an American Breakfast is included with your room rates.
