Description

Visit the surroundings of Otavalo on a different way. We will start right from your hotel in town then it will be 20 minutes’ drive up to iconic viewpoint known as el lechero, up there you will have awesome views of the surroundings from the most famous valley of Imbabura province. At the viewpoint, you’re also be able to see San Pablo Lake, as well as the surrounded volcanoes, such as Cayambe, Imbabura, Cotacahi and Fuyafuya. Then it’s time to get equipped and be ready for an awesome mountain bike experience. On the way down will pass by little villages where you can see local people and their traditions, then we will visit Peguche, the secret waterfall where you will stretch your legs walking for 15 minutes. Then it is time to continue towards to the town where we will stop by and local art workshop and get to know more about the textiles, embroidery and weaving, an ancient tradition in the community. After that we will go visit the shaman’s village and maybe if you want to clean your soul it is the perfect moment. Finally, you will cycle back to Otavalo town and drop Hotel as the final activity.
