Vega is Ecuador's most famous ceramicist and muralist and renowned in all Latin America. His work reflects his European studies combined with his life experiences and entourage; he is a landscapist.
He produces hand-made beautiful and colorful decorative, utilitarian and art pieces, which can be admired and purchased in his workshop-gallery. From tiny tiles to dish sets to murals, each one is an exclusive piece of art.
He is also very well-known for his murals, which he makes upon requests he gets from all over the world; he has delivered them to the United States, Costa Rica, and Taiwan among others.
The gallery not only sells Vega's beautiful designs, but you'll get a really good cup of coffee here. The fun part is going to the factory warehouse, where thousands of pieces are stored that have patterns which are missing pieces or have been discontinued, or even odd sizes.
Vega's designs go well beyond the crude and many times primitive handicraft items that can be found in other places. Because of this you will find items in his shop that you are likely not going to find anywhere else in the world.
