The staff at Tatoo Adventure Gear are always friendly, highly knowledgeable and very experienced in all outdoor pursuits. They can also recommend adventure hotspots in the area, which is particularly helpful if you're a tourist and don't know Quito and its surroundings all that well.
The help and advice doesn't end there, however; it really does extend to all things outdoors - the members of staff at Tatoo Adventure Gear can even provide excellent recommendations on products, such as which type of footwear will best suit your needs.
The company is proudly Latin American and will not stock anything other than the best of the best - world-class gear, in other words, and apparel brands. Although the shop stocks equipment and clothing for all manner of outdoor pursuits, they specialise in climbing, mountaineering, road-biking, mountain-biking, trekking, camping and, last but not least, kayaking.
Tatoo Adventure Gear outlets do not only exist in Ecuador; the company is so successful it has branched into other Latin American countries, including Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia.
