Academy Bay Diving is owned and operated by a family of Galapagos residents who know and love the islands and the ocean surrounding them. They will take you to the best diving spots. All their guides speak English and are very knowledgeable.
They offer all the range of diving activities, from diving courses to day tours and live-aboard trips. Their diving center, located in Academy Bay in Puerto Ayora, is PADI certified and offers courses from the very beginner ones to the most advanced. For short diving trips, they use their own boat, a recently renovated 10 meter speed boat with twin 175hp engines, very fast and comfortable and with all the facilities necessary.
Safety is one of their main concerns, which is why all their crew is well trained and prepared for any emergency; they even have on staff a nurse with hyperbaric medicine training.
