Directions to Casa 1028
This is a restaurant on the move... literally. Casa 1028 is a mobile restaurant, housed within a large black bus, that travels into the centre of Quito, serving food while telling stories and legends about the ancient city.
Casa 1028 was the initiative of a group of professionals who felt there was a gap in the marketplace and have certainly filled said gap, for there is nothing else like it in the city. The bus has been totally redesigned inside, leaving space for proper dining tables, comfortable seating, and a strangely elegant appearance!
You will receive traditional Ecuadorian appetizers en route, and also up to four glasses of red or white wine per person (you can have more at an extra cost). Casa 1028 is a fantastic opportunity to see the Old Town of Quito at night time in a safe and comfortable environment.
There is capacity for 22 passengers, the host is bilingual, and the bathroom is reputedly lovely. The tour takes around two and a half hours to complete and departs daily at 7pm, dependent on reservation.
