Description

One day before your tour, you must come to our agency in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno to try on and adjust your snorkeling gear. This process is carried out to ensure that you have the right gear and are ready to enjoy the activity in comfort. On the day of the tour, start your adventure in the Galápagos Islands by meeting at 7:40 a.m. at our agency, where you'll be given your snorkeling gear, which includes a short wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and fins. Our team will help you get ready and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have before you set off. At 7:50 a.m., we'll head to Aquarium Pier I, where you'll meet your certified naturalist guide, who will accompany you throughout the experience and share information about the wildlife, geology, and natural history of the Galápagos. From the pier, you'll embark on a boat trip to Kicker Rock (León Dormido), one of the most iconic geological formations in San Cristóbal. During the sail, you can enjoy the archipelago's landscapes and, with a bit of luck, spot seabirds or dolphins along the way. At around 8:40 AM, you will arrive at Kicker Rock. After an explanation from your guide, you'll start your first snorkeling session of approximately 45 minutes in the channel between the two huge rock formations. This site is known for its rich marine life and offers the chance to see Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, rays, fish, and other species that inhabit these waters. At approximately 10:00 a.m., you'll do a second snorkeling session of about 45 minutes in another area of Kicker Rock. The exact location may vary depending on ocean conditions, always with the aim of offering you a safe experience and allowing you to enjoy marine life to the fullest. After exploring Kicker Rock, you'll sail to one of the beaches in the area, which may be Manglesito, Puerto Grande, or Cerro Brujo, depending on sea conditions and the day's schedule. There, you will have time to relax, swim, enjoy the scenery and, when possible, do a short extra snorkeling session. Finally, you'll head back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, arriving at approximately 2:30 p.m. The duration of the boat trip and the drop-off time may vary depending on ocean conditions.
