Description
Your adventure begins with pickup from Quito or nearby towns. Travel by 4x4 vehicle to Cotopaxi National Park, one of Ecuador’s key protected areas.
Drive up to the parking lot at 4,500 meters. Optionally, trek to the José Rivas Refuge at 4,864 meters for panoramic views before returning to the start of your downhill mountain biking trail.
Enjoy a single-track ride down to Limpiopungo Lagoon at 3,800 meters. Experience varied terrain as you descend through volcanic landscapes into páramo vegetation.
After the ride, relax with lunch inside the national park before heading back to your pickup point.
