Begin your adventure at the Go F.A.R office with CarpeDM Adventures before entering Cotopaxi National Park. An expert guide will introduce you to the region’s volcanoes, unique plants, animals, and geological history.
Your hike starts from a high-altitude parking area and ascends to a refuge located in the clouds. This trek combines physical challenge with immersive nature observation. After descending, enjoy an optional downhill bike ride covering 5 km that ends at Limpiopungo Glacier Lake.
The day concludes with a drive to a local restaurant for lunch, providing an opportunity to share the experience with fellow travelers before returning to Quito.
