The trip begins with pickup from your accommodation in Quito. Along the route, you will see several Andes volcanoes including Cayambe, Antisana, and Pasochoa.
Traveling via the Panamericana highway to Cotopaxi National Park, the tour stops at Romerillos Viewpoint to view Corazón Volcano and the Illinizas Volcanoes and offers opportunities to take photographs with alpacas.
At the park entrance, you can acclimatize with traditional coca tea and explore stalls selling handicrafts and ponchos.
Inside Cotopaxi National Park, you will reach an elevation of approximately 4,000 meters for views and photos of Cotopaxi Volcano. Wildlife sightings may include spectacled bears, condors, wild horses, deer, and various native birds.
