Description

Begin your day with a morning departure towards Machalilla National Park, traveling along Ecuador’s beautiful coastline while enjoying spectacular ocean views until reaching Puerto López. Upon arrival, board a boat for a scenic journey to Isla de la Plata, popularly known as the “Little Galápagos” due to its remarkable biodiversity and variety of seabirds. On the island, follow one of its trails, observing the diverse bird species and native vegetation while enjoying the beautiful coastal landscapes. From June to September, during the boat ride, you may have the opportunity to spot humpback whales as they migrate through the waters off the Ecuadorian coast. Lunch will be served on board the boat while visiting the island. Afterwards, return to Puerto López, where you will have some free time to explore the town and enjoy its local atmosphere. In the afternoon, depart for Manta or Montañita, according to the scheduled itinerary.
