Description

Depart from Baños at 8:30 AM in private transport for a three-hour drive to Chimborazo Volcano. After registering at the first station, hike to the first benchmark at 4,800 meters to acclimate.

Continue ascending to the second base at 5,041 meters. From there, a brief 10-minute walk leads to a lagoon adjacent to the glacier.

Following the hike and acclimation, enjoy lunch at the base after descending approximately 40 minutes. Return to Baños by private vehicle at the end of the day.
