Description
This exclusive tour visits the rarely accessible Cormorant Point, unlike common public tours to Floreana port that focus on human history and offer beach-only snorkeling. Previously accessible only to cruise ships, this site offers an intimate wildlife experience under expert naturalist guidance.
The tour features birdwatching opportunities and abundant wildlife on two contrasting beaches and along the lagoon walk. The snorkeling site is one of the few deep-water locations available for day tours, increasing chances to see hammerhead sharks. You can also encounter large sea turtles, sea lions, rays, and numerous tropical fish during snorkeling.
Participants can try fishing for yellow-fin tuna or wahoo and enjoy exploring Floreana’s unique coastal landscapes. The journey involves nearly two hours of navigation each way.
