Meet your guide at 9:00 am outside Hotel Casa Q in the La Pradera neighborhood to begin the tour.
Take a 15-minute cable car ride from 3,045 meters (9,990 ft) to 4,100 meters (12,500 ft) above sea level on the slopes of Pichincha Volcano. From the top, observe views of Quito’s eastern valleys, old town, and northern and southern districts.
Next, visit the Intiñan Museum, located on the equatorial line defined by the 18th-century French Geodesic Mission. The museum features exhibits on Ecuador’s ethnic groups and cultural heritage, explained by a specialized guide.
