Description
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby within the urban perimeter of Puerto Ayora or direct you to a convenient meeting point. From there, you will head to the passenger boarding area at Santa Cruz port.
You will board a boat to Playa la Fe, where you will hike coastal trails to observe marine and land iguanas. If conditions allow, you will snorkel in the bay, encountering species such as white tip and black tip bay sharks.
Next, the boat travels approximately one and a half hours to Pinzón Island. There you can snorkel once or twice depending on conditions. Lunch will be served on board between snorkeling sessions.
The area around Pinzón Island is home to sea lions, marine iguanas, turtles, eels, eagle rays, and white tip bay sharks. Penguins may also be spotted in the vicinity.
The tour returns to the port around 4:00 p.m. After disembarking, you will need to arrange your own transportation back to your hotel.
