Description
The Amazon Sightseeing Tour takes you through the Hola Vida Ecological Reserve, a wildlife refuge rich in diverse flora and fauna. You will explore the rainforest, engage with indigenous culture, and experience Amazonian landscapes.
The itinerary includes a visit to panoramic viewpoints, cultural activities in the Kichwa Wayuri community such as blowpipe use, achiote painting, and traditional dance, a canoe ride on the Puyo River, and a typical community lunch featuring maito de tilapia and Wayusa tea. The tour also features a hike to the Hola Vida waterfall with time for swimming and wildlife observation, and a visit to a local artisanal chocolate maker to learn about traditional cocoa processing.
