Description
Day 1: Arrive at Baltra Island airport and meet your National Park guides. Transfer to Santa Cruz Island and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National Park Interpretation Center.
Day 2: Visit Tortuga Bay Beach with its white sand and clear waters. Observe marine life, iguanas, and other wildlife species. Then visit a private ranch to see giant tortoises in their natural habitat. The day ends with a guided hike through underground lava tunnels.
Day 3: Take the Bahia Tour around Bahia Academia near Santa Cruz. The tour includes:
- Los Perros Beach, home to a colony of marine iguanas and sea turtles
- Lava tunnels known as the Tunnels of Love and the Tunnels of Blue Sharks, excellent snorkeling spots
- Observation of blue-footed boobies nesting on the rocks
- Las Grietas, an inlet with brackish, fresh, and crystalline water ideal for snorkeling
The tour is mostly by yacht, with two walking stops of approximately 15 and 20 minutes, lasting around 3 hours in total.
Day 4: After breakfast, transfer to Baltra airport for your departure flight.
