Description
Explore the clear waters of the Galapagos with an experienced instructor guiding you through a discovery dive suitable for beginners. Swim alongside playful sea lions, hammerhead sharks, and colorful fish at depths up to 12 meters. No dive license is required.
The tour begins with hotel pickup and breakfast, continues with a diving session at Seymour Norte Island, snorkeling at Mosquera Island, and includes lunch on the yacht. After snorkeling, you will observe blue-footed boobies from the yacht before returning to Baltra port for hotel drop-off.
Underwater pictures and videos are provided and can be collected at the office at 6:00 pm. The full tour lasts approximately 6 to 7 hours.
Note: The tour may be rescheduled to the afternoon depending on weather and moon phases for safety. For open-water or advanced diving, contact the operator 48 hours in advance or select another package.
Schedule
- 7:00 am: Hotel pickup
- 7:10 am: Breakfast
- 7:30 am: Transfer to Baltra port
- 8:00 am: Meet instructor and group photo at Baltra port
- 9:00 am: Dive at Seymour Norte Island (depth ~14m, 30–40 minutes)
- 10:00 am: Return to yacht for snacks
- 11:00 am: Snorkeling at Mosquera Island (approximately 75 minutes)
- 12:30 pm: Lunch on the yacht
- 1:00 pm: Observe blue-footed boobies from the yacht
- 2:00 pm: Return to Baltra port and hotel drop-off
