Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival at San Cristobal Island: Fly to San Cristobal in the Galapagos. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. The afternoon is free for rest or exploration.
Day 2 – Snorkeling at Kicker Rock: After hotel pickup, transfer to the dock for a day tour to Kicker Rock. Snorkel among colorful fish, turtles, giant rays, and hammerhead sharks. The tour includes a visit to a secluded beach at Puerto Grande before returning to the dock.
Day 3 – Travel to Santa Cruz, Primicias Tortoise Farm, and Tortuga Bay: Early morning speedboat transfer to Santa Cruz Island and arrival at Puerto Ayora. Guided tour of the Primicias Tortoise Farm in the highlands with transport provided. In the afternoon, take a self-guided hike to Tortuga Bay Beach.
Day 4 – Academy Bay Tour and Travel to Isabela: Guided tour of Academy Bay visiting Playa de los Alemanes, Playa de Perros, Las Grietas gorge, and the shark channel. Return to Puerto Ayora dock mid-day. Afternoon speedboat transfer to Isabela Island, approximately 2.5 hours. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival.
Day 5 – Hiking at Sierra Negra Volcano: Guided hike through the highlands to the crater of the active Sierra Negra Volcano. Weather permitting, expect excellent views of surrounding volcanoes. Afternoon free to enjoy the sea and beaches.
Day 6 – Snorkeling at Los Tuneles: Boat tour along the coast to Cabo Rosa with a short land walk to see Galapagos penguins and blue-footed boobies. Snorkel at a site with sea turtles, white-tip sharks, and seahorses. Return to Puerto Villamil.
Day 7 – Return to Santa Cruz and Departure: Early morning speedboat transfer to Santa Cruz. Transfer to the Itabaca Channel ferry and then by bus to Baltra airport for your departure flight to Quito or Guayaquil.
