Description

The tour departs Guayaquil at 8 a.m. with hotel pickup and transfers you to a local cacao farm near Milagro City. You will learn about artisanal chocolate making, from the cocoa plant to the final product, including tasting sessions.

After the cacao farm visit, the tour continues with a 1.5-hour transfer to Bucay, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. Before ascending to 4,200 feet, you will enjoy a traditional Ecuadorian lunch.

During the ascent, observe local rivers, vegetation, and a traditional trapiche (sugar cane press). In the cloud forest, a guided hike begins on natural trails where you can identify native plants, trees, and bird species.
