Departing from Quito hotels in La Carolina, La Mariscal, La Floresta, or the Historic Center, this tour crosses the Andes to Papallacta at 3,300 meters (10,800 ft) above sea level.

At Guango Lodge, you will walk natural cloud forest trails along the Papallacta River, observing diverse flora and fauna including hummingbirds, toucans, jays, and caciques. After the nature walk, enjoy free time at the Papallacta Hot Springs surrounded by mountain landscapes. There is also the option to book a massage or spa treatment at the resort, subject to availability.

Lunch is included before returning to Quito, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Note that the cloud forest trails are natural, potentially muddy, uneven, and slippery, especially after rain. Closed-toe hiking shoes or boots and a light rain jacket are recommended.
