Description
Your tour begins with a hotel pickup on Santa Cruz Island, followed by a short transfer to the port to board your boat. You will first visit the Plaza Islands, starting with South Plazas Island. This includes a 90-minute walking tour to observe land iguanas, marine iguanas, swallow-tailed gulls, and various tropical birds. The landscape features diverse vegetation, including several cactus species. You might also see blue-footed boobies and sea lions.
South Plazas is known for its land iguanas, sea lions, swallow-tailed gulls, yellow-tailed mullets, Audubon's shearwaters, red-billed tropicbirds, and brown pelicans soaring over the cliffs.
After South Plazas, the tour continues to Punta Carrion, where you can snorkel among marine life such as whitetip sharks, starfish, green sea turtles, damselfish, parrotfish, and rays. Encounters with sea lions in the water are possible. A lunch is served onboard while you enjoy the surrounding scenery. The tour ends with a return to Puerto Ayora and hotel drop-off.
