Description
Begin with a 7:00 AM pickup from your chosen location in Quito, followed by a scenic 4.5-hour drive to the Amazon basin. Stop at Puyo for lunch before arriving at Tamandua Ecolodge. After settling in, embark on a guided hike to the 70-meter Pusculin Waterfall. The day concludes with dinner at the lodge.
On the second day, enjoy breakfast before an excursion to the Upper Anzu River to observe local landscapes and biodiversity. After returning for lunch, participate in a chocolate-making workshop using native Amazon cacao, learning traditional preparation techniques and creating your own chocolate.
The final day starts with breakfast, then a visit to the lodge’s viewpoints and observation tower. Join a handicraft workshop to make a bracelet using natural seeds collected from the jungle. After lunch, return to Quito with an estimated arrival between 8:00 and 9:00 PM.
