Description
Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Quito, transferring to the Parish of Pomasqui to visit CASA AGAVE. Discover how agave transforms sunlight into a sacred elixir called chawarmishky, now known as Miske—Ecuador’s first spirit with denomination of origin.
The 1.5-hour CASA AGAVE experience includes a botanical garden tour, museum visit, distillery tour, tastings of various products, a special spirits tasting, and a cocktail bar session.
Next, proceed to the Middle of the World monument where you can stand on the equatorial line. Visit the Intiñan Museum (entrance fee not included) for an interactive experience about indigenous history, solar phenomena, century-old huts, and earth science demonstrations.
The tour concludes with transport back to your Quito hotel.
