Begin your journey with a visit to Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the world’s highest active volcanoes. Hike around Limpiopungo Lagoon and take in the alpine scenery before overnighting nearby.
On day two, travel to Quilotoa Crater Lake, a turquoise volcanic lagoon. Enjoy panoramic views or hike around the crater rim. Visit local Tigua painters and the Toachi Ecuador Grand Canyon, then overnight in Baños.
Day three focuses on Baños, known for its waterfalls and adventure activities. Visit Pailón del Diablo waterfall and opt for additional activities like zip-lining, rafting, or horseback riding (extra cost applies). Stay overnight in Riobamba.
The final day visits Chimborazo Volcano, Ecuador’s highest peak. Hike its slopes to spot high-altitude flora and vicuñas, and learn about its indigenous significance. Conclude at Devil’s Nose Mountain viewpoint to appreciate the railway engineering and scenery, then continue to Cuenca for drop-off at your accommodation.
