The tour starts at Loma Grande (La Mama Cuchara), where you will taste chocolate and watch the transformation of cacao beans into drinking chocolate. Then, you will explore Quito’s colonial streets with detailed explanations.
You will visit Plaza de Santo Domingo and Plaza de San Francisco. If you want to enter the convent and climb the towers of San Francisco, an additional fee applies. Next, the tour proceeds to the Church of the Society of Jesus (Compañía de Jesús) to observe its domes.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Iglesia del Sagrario and finally Plaza de la Independencia, where you will receive a closing explanation about Quito’s historic center.
