Description

Begin your adventure with a 45-minute land transfer from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca Channel, where you will board a 33-foot boat. Following a comprehensive safety briefing, your adventure commences. The itinerary features a blend of kayaking or paddleboarding, complemented by snorkeling at Carrion Point. Please note that the sequence of activities is optimized daily based on local wind conditions to ensure the best possible experience. Enjoy a magical experience along Punta Carrion, paddle by the mangroves and the rocky walls on this calm water bay. The activity will take you about an hour; this is a guided tour led by a naturalist guide. Depending on the season and luck, you may have a chance to see from the kayaks or SUP: blue-footed boobies along the rocks or fishing, pelicans, turtles by the mangroves, frigate birds flying, brown noddy terns, and white-tipped reef sharks. Depending on the visibility and luck, you have good chances to find white-tipped reef sharks or baby black-tipped sharks while snorkeling, swim with a lot of different tropical fish such as yellow-tailed surgeonfish, angelfish, stingrays, and more.
