Description
This tour around Tintoreras Islet showcases diverse wildlife in a compact area where animals are habituated to humans. The experience begins with a boat ride around the bay to see volcanic formations, pelican nesting sites, marine iguanas swimming, sea turtles, Galapagos penguins, and blue-footed boobies either fishing or resting.
Next, you disembark for a short walk on the islet to observe baby iguanas, newborn sea lions on the beach, a channel with white-tip reef sharks, and notable volcanic features.
The tour then returns to the boat for snorkeling, where you receive fins, mask equipment, and a wetsuit. In the water, expect to encounter marine iguanas, rays, white-tipped sharks, fish, sea turtles, sea lions, and other marine species.
