Description
Located in the volcanic sierra of Isabela Island, this tour allows you to rappel 500 feet down into an ancient volcano crater formed by its last eruption 600,000 years ago. At the bottom, you can explore natural chambers and observe untouched quartz crystals, petrified lichens, and other geological features preserved in their natural state.
After the descent, you will climb back to the surface and walk along the triplet volcanoes' edges. From this vantage point, safely observe the deep tunnels inside each volcano while enjoying views of the coast and the Galapagos Ocean.
