Piedra de Agua

Ecuador

In a hidden corner of the foothills in the Ecuadorian Andes, 10 minutes from Cuenca, is located Piedra de Agua Hot Springs and Spa, built almost entirely from volcanic limestone.

Piedra de Agua Hot Springs and Spa is built with volcanic limestone extracted from the volcano itself, which, combined in its architecture with stone, glass and wood, accounts for natural and comforting spaces where customers can enjoy moments of relaxation and serenity.

The facilities include underground hot springs, thermal pools, cave rooms for relaxing and therapeutical massages, and Turkish and steam baths, among several others.

The restaurant Libélula serves healthy food, most of it prepared with organic ingredients from their own gardens, a mix of international and Ecuadorian cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere with delicate lighting.
