Recently reconstructed and refurbished the Galapagos Legend cruise ship journeys into the historic islands to give adventure tourists a comfortable, yet thrilling experience. The boat has a capacity of 100 travellers, with all the amenities of larger cruise ships, but maintains an element of personal treatment which you would expect from family style cruise liners. The experience can be described as adventurous but the comfort onboard projects a contrast to the outdoor activities; all chambers are spacious and are fitted with warming carpets, and modern furniture.
The facilities have been implemented to create a homely feel to the cruise liner, including a 24 hour coffee bar, swimming pool, piano lounge, cocktail bars, and a calling facility to stay in contact with friends and family onshore. Social areas can be found on the sundecks or in the dining room to indulge in fantastic cuisine. Before excursions the auditorium facility is used to educate tourists on what to expect and how to respect the area for its natural beauty; an environmentally aware approach which has enhanced the reputation of the Galapagos Legend.
