Start with convenient pickup from Quito at 7:00 AM and relax on the scenic transfer to 'El Pedregal' which is located in the Southeast of Quito, among the Rumiñahui, Pasochoa, Sincholagua, and Cotopaxi volcanoes. Once you arrive at a traditional hacienda of the Andes, you have the opportunity to wear typical costumes of the Ecuadorian Chagra.
After 2 .5-hours of horseback riding through breathtaking natural landscapes with stunning mountain views, visit the sparklking Limpiopungo Lagoon. Take a short hike in the surroundings of Limpiopungo Valley before driving ever-higher into this sky-high region, stopping at the 15,800-feet (4830-meter) Padre Rivas Refuge where you can take an optional hike.
