With movie theaters in four major shopping malls in Quito, Multicines is a pioneer in movie technology, showing regular, digital, and 3D format movies.
The Scala Shopping theater, which opened in November 2012 in Cumbayá, has 7 stadium type halls with leather seats and a VIP section in every hall with a dedicated elevator access, electric seats, and waiting lounge.
Every Tuesday evening in the Centro Comercial Iñaquito location, there is a Performing Arts presentation, a different one each week, of opera, ballet, concerts, or documentaries in dolby digital format.
Reduced prices on Wednesdays. Look out for film festivals which are shown every now and then.
