Located 90km north of Quito on the shore of San Pablo Lake, 5 minutes from Otavalo and its famous crafts market, and very near the Panamerican Highway, this is the ideal place to stay to enjoy all the attractions the Imbabura province has to offer. Puertolago Country Inn offers a comfortable stay in its European style chalets and suites among natural and picturesque surroundings with views of the lake and surrounded by well-tended lawns and gardens.
Puertolago has an elegant 150 people capacity restaurant, beautifully decorated with local indigenous and nautical motifs and with panoramic views of San Pablo Lake and Imbabura Volcano, offering national and international dishes made with locally produced organic vegetables. The menu has a great variety of soups, salads, meats, seafood, desserts, juices, and wines. On most weekends guests can enjoy live music from local musicians. Open Sunday to Thursday 7:30am to 9pm, Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays 7am to 9:30pm.
