Quito: Night street food, art and drinks
28 ReviewsWe've made the perfect route for you to discover our favorite snacks and drinks while admiring the coolest side of Quito's street art. Meet the artists at their studio and gallery.
This fantastic city tour is an off-shoot of the noble and worthy cause of the Bicipaseos Heritage Project, which aims to cater for both domestic and foreign tourists by creating cycle routes in and around the historic centre of Quito.
The capital of Ecuador has not been particularly bike-friendly in recent years. However, with projects such as these, the trend is changing - as more and more people realise the benefits of cycling over using more traditional transport, such as cars and buses. It is not only a great way to keep fit, but also a chance to contribute to the saving of the planet by making use of a green mode of transport.
There are a number of routes which have been designed for groups with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 25 participants. Although anyone can cycle these routes at any time, if you join an organised tour you are offered a bike, helmet and safety vest, refreshments en route and guided commentary on points of interest.
The routes are as follows: Route of Churches, Route Quito from Heaven (Itchimbía, San Juan, Panecillo), Route Eternal Quito, Route House of Dance, Route Gastronomic Delights.
The tours are available every day, 9am - 5pm
