Sierra Nevada Expeditions has been organizing adventure expeditions in Ecuador since 1988. All their carefully handpicked guides are ASEGUIM (Ecuadorian Mountain Guides Association) certified and have medical training. The company's leader and founder, Freddy Ramírez, has under his belt a list of national and international certifications in river guiding, mountain climbing, and hospitality, as well as experience in expeditions to peaks all over the world.

Their menu of options is large. Mountain climbing trips to all the highest Ecuadorian peaks, combined with visits to indian markets or villages.
