Quito: Night street food, art and drinks
30 ReviewsWe've made the perfect route for you to discover our favorite snacks and drinks while admiring the coolest side of Quito's street art. Meet the artists at their studio and gallery.
This cosy and welcoming coffee shop is perfect for a quick snack and something to drink. One of the more adorable quirks of this modest little venue is that all its coffees are made from 100% Ecuadorian coffee beans; not only do the cappuccinos and lattes taste fantastic, but they are also supporting local farms and businesses.
Cafeto sets out to serve great coffee in a family atmosphere, and has built up a worthy reputation. Their menu includes an extensive selection of beverages that are all excellent; cappuccinos, mochaccinos, espressos, lattes, chocolate drinks, fruit juices...the list goes on!
The small breakfasts, sandwiches and baguettes at Cafeto are very good value - cheap, but you get a lot of calories - and if you fall in love with the coffee, as many do, you can buy it in small packets to take home with you and brew yourself. The cakes and treats offered are also stupendously tasty, and a great accompaniment to a strong coffee.
For that extra bit of peace and solitude, head on up to the second floor, where you'll find a balcony from which you can watch the world go by.
