Sur Restaurant Cava-Bar

The cuisine in this magnificent restaurant is renowned for being spectacularly delicious. Sur specialises in grilled Argentine meats - famed for being some of the best in the world - and the restaurant is one of the most popular venues in Quito.

The atmosphere is one of elegance, functionality and cosiness, and staff do their utmost to ensure service runs smoothly. The fare revolves mainly around steaks and seafood, which is cooked in various ways, including by way of grill. Suckling pig is on the menu too, a rarity which is a stand-out dish at Sur.

The décor is inspired by Argentina which adds a dose of the exotic, and the venue has a trendy, club-like feel. One of the highlights of Sur is the underground wine cellar, which is vast and houses wines of the world-famous La Cava vintages. You can also enjoy a fine selection of spirits in the bar.
